Take a position.
Support, Oppose, or Unsure. Your positions are saved privately until you verify your phone and residence. Once verified, each citizen counts once. Payment never changes your weight.
A forms.
When at least 100 verified constituents have weighed in and one side reaches 60%, the result locks as a citizen mandate. Below that, it is recorded as a split and never used against anyone. A mandate is a public record, not a legal instruction.
Official votes are compared.
When your representatives cast a recorded vote, Civitus compares it to the locked mandate and files it as aligned or defied.
The record stays.
Mandates and comparisons are permanent, public, and sourced. Corrections are added to the record, never erased.
